Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This policy explains how the personal-use Hermes Agent integration accesses, uses, handles, and retains Google user data.
1. Operator and scope
Hermes Agent is a privately operated AI assistant used by its developer to carry out tasks for the developer's own Google account. This website only publishes information about that OAuth application; it does not itself provide sign-in or collect Google account content.
2. Google user data accessed
Depending on the OAuth permissions granted, the application may access Gmail messages and metadata, Google Calendar events, Google Drive files and metadata, Google Docs documents, Google Sheets spreadsheets, and Google Contacts information. It accesses information required for the requested task; it does not need to collect every category for every task.
3. Purposes and use
Google user data is used to perform authorized functions such as viewing and organizing email, creating or editing calendar events, reading or updating files and documents, and producing summaries or automated personal workflows. Sending email or changing or deleting data occurs only as directed by the authorized account owner or by workflows the owner has configured.
4. Processing and disclosure
Tasks may be processed by software on the owner's managed devices. When the owner enables AI-assisted functions, relevant task content may be transmitted to AI model providers or other services selected and configured by the owner, solely as necessary to provide those functions. Google APIs and infrastructure providers process requests as part of normal service delivery. Google user data is not sold, is not used for advertising or ad targeting, and is not used to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
5. Storage, security and retention
OAuth credentials and task-related records are maintained within environments controlled or configured by the owner, including the local Hermes installation and authorized Google Workspace storage. Generated outputs and operational logs may be retained for the owner's workflows, review, and backups until the owner removes them. Access should be restricted to authorized environments and credentials should not be published.
6. Revocation and deletion
The owner can revoke Hermes Agent's Google access at any time in Google Account third-party connections. Revoking access prevents further authorized API access but does not automatically erase local files, saved outputs, or backups. The owner may delete those records from their Hermes-managed devices and connected services, or contact the developer below for assistance.
7. Website data
This static information website does not request Google login, set its own tracking cookies, or run custom analytics. Its hosting provider may process standard network request information for delivery and security.
8. Changes and contact
This policy may be updated when integration behavior changes. Questions about privacy, access, or deletion can be sent to vicchong1983@gmail.com.
